Krishnava started his legal career in the Calcutta High Court where he practiced civil law. After a short stint at the High Court, he joined ICICI Bank in Mumbai where he gained several years of experience in handling transactions in the stressed assets space and international banking sector. He joined AmarchandMangaldas in 2005 and became the partner in charge of the eastern operations of the firm in the year 2007. He retired from AmarchandMangaldas as a partner in June of 2009.
Mr. ShashiMaudgal is a Chemical Engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi anda Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. He has also done the Advanced Management Program from Harvard University.
In his nearly four decades of industry experience, Mr. Maudgal has worked in India, the United States of America, London &South Korea.
He was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Novelis (Asia) - an Aditya Birla Group Company - in Seoul, South Koreafrom 2012-16.Mr. Maudgal has held various other positions in the Aditya Birla Group including Chief Marketing Officer for the aluminium business and CEO of the Foil and Wheel business.He is presently on a project assignment at the Aditya Birla Group servingas Chief Executive (Integration) at UltraTech Cement.
Mr. Maudgal has been on the Boards of Hindalco-Almex Aerospace Limited, Novelis Asia and Aluminium Company of Malaysia Berhad and currently serves on the Board of The Tinplate Company of India Limited as an Independent Director. In Seoul, he was theChairman of the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea, between 2013-15.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Maudgal has worked in various capacities with reputed companies such as Asian Paints,Hindustan Ciba-Geigy, Arvind Mills and Ceat, and thus has valuable multi-industry experience.
Ms Saggi has 34 years’of experience, both in government and in private sector with leadership and entrepreneurial positions. She has been involved in policy formulation and implementation of various schemes at State and Central Governments and has extensive experience in infrastructure sector.
She served as an Indian Administrative Service officer for more than 3 decades in various sectors including rural and area development, health, commerce, shipping and ports. Ms. Saggi has held positions as the Secretary to Governor of West Bengal, District Magistrate, Hooghly District in West Bengal, Dy. Chairperson of the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), CMD of Hindustan Diamond Corporation and Development Commissioner of Special Economic Zones. She was also the Chief Executive Officer of L&T Seawoods Private Limited.

Mr. Anand Sen joined Tata Steel Limited as a Graduate trainee in 1981. He is a B. Tech. from IIT, Kharagpur and has earned his MBA from IIM, Kolkata. He has also completed an Executive MBA from CEDEP at INSEAD.
Mr. Sen is currently the President TQM & Steel Business in Tata Steel Ltd and is responsible for the Steel Business including Marketing & Sales, Technology and for the promotion of TQM across Tata Steel India. Mr. Sen has worked across Marketing and Sales, Strategy and Business Leadership, Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Projects, in his more than three decades long career.
Mr. Sen serves on the board of variousTata Steel Group companies including NatSteel Holdings Pvt. Ltd., Tata BlueScope Ltd. The Tinplate Company of India Ltd. He is also on the board member of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.
Mr. Sen is the Vice President of the Indian Institute of Metals and the Chairman of its Ferrous division. He is a member of the advisory committees of the Centre of Excellence in Steel Technology at IIT Bombay and IIT Madras. He is an elected Corporate Member of the All India Management Association (AIMA) and Chairman of CII’s Logistics & Supply Chain Taskforce for the Eastern Region.

He has been recently awarded with AIST 2018 Steel Maker of the Year award to recognize his exceptional contributions to the steel industry.
Mr. T.V. Narendran is a Mechanical Engineer from REC (NIT), Trichy (1986) and MBA from IIM Calcutta (1988) and also a “Distinguished Alumni” of both these institutions. He is a Fellow of The Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE). He has also attended the Advanced Management Programme in CEDEP - INSEAD, France.He has more than 30 years of experience in metal and mining industry.
Presently, Mr. Narendran is CEO& MD of Tata Steel and serving onthe Board of Tata Steel Ltd and Tata Steel Europe. He was actively involved in TSL’s first overseas acquisition, NatSteel in 2005 and has successfully executed and commissioned one of the largest Greenfield Project in India – The Kalinganagar Steel plant in Odisha, which also achieved its rated capacity within a very short span of time.
Currently, actively involved in the negotiations with Thyssenkrupp for formation of “Thyssenkrupp Tata Steel Joint Venture” to create a second largest pan European Steel.
Mr. Narendran is a member of Board of World Steel Association and a member of its Executive Committee. Besides this, he was Co-Chair of Mining & Metals Governing Council of the World Economic Forum from 2016 to 2018. He is also part of various prestigious organization both at Global and Indian level, National Council of CII, Past Chair of CII Eastern Region and the Jharkhand State Council, BRICS Business Council, etc. He is also Chairman of Board of Governors of XLRI Jamshedpur.
Mr. Koushik Chatterjee is an Honors Graduate in Commerce from Calcutta University and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He joined Tata Steel in 1995 and has more than two decades of experience in the Tata Group.
Mr. Chatterjee was inducted on the Board of Tata Steel Limited in 2012 and was appointed Group Executive Director (Finance & Corporate), Tata Steel in 2013 with an overall responsibility for Group Finance and Corporate Functions which amongst others included, M&A, Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Planning, Portfolio Management and Board Governance. In 2017, he was re-appointed as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of Tata Steel Ltd.
During his tenure, Mr. Chatterjee provided leadership and hands on experience in developing M&A strategy, transaction planning, structuring and execution planning for acquisitions with transactions value aggregating to more than US $15 billion in India, Europe, Canada, Africa, Thailand, Singapore and Australia. Under his leadership and guidance, Tata Steel has been able to turnaround the business of various Indian subsidiaries.
He is presently on the Board of several Tata Steel Group companies, in and outside India including Tata Steel Europe and Chairman of listed entities - Tata Metaliks and Tinplate Company.
He is a member of the International Integrated Reporting Council, Global Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures, Switzerland, the B20 Task Forces under the Chairmanship of Germany on Energy, Climate & Resource Efficiency, Responsible Business Conduct & Anti-Corruption and is a Director of the World Steel Association, Brussels.
Mr. Rajeev Singhal is a Mechanical engineer from IT, Banaras Hindu University and has completed PGDBM in Marketing from XLRI, Jamshedpur. He joined Tata Steel as a Graduate Trainee in 1985. He has completed CEDEP’s General Management Program at, INSEAD, France.
After his initial stint in information technology, he handled Marketing & Sales Function in the Tubes Division. He also worked in the International Business Exports and subsequently Chief Sales Manager (North), and Chief M&S - Long Products. He has nearly 20 years’ experience in Marketing & Sales.
His professional journey that spans a little over than three decades has seen several milestones in various departments such as Information Technology, Marketing, Sales, Human Resources and Raw Materials.
In 2010, he was transferred as Executive-in-Charge Ferro Alloys & Minerals. In 2013, he was promoted as Vice President Raw Material.
He is a director on the boards of several Tata Group companies such as Tata Steel Minerals Canada Limited, TS Alloys Limited, S&T Mining and T M Mining.
Mr Sanjib Nanda is a Chartered accountant by profession and joined Tata Steel Limited in 1991.Mr Nanda led the Finance & Accounts function of NatSteel Group since June 2014 till his appointment in Bhushan Steel.
Mr. Nanda led various Group Finance Functions in Tata Steel like Capital Markets, Treasury, Corporate Finance & Banking, M&A, Insurance & Transformation projects over the last 12 years. Prior to this has worked over a decade in the area of International Sales & Marketing heading South East Asia region for Tata Steel & subsequently leading the world wide steel trading business.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of various subsidiaries of NatSteel Holding,Singapore & Tata Steel Group Companies in South East Asia.
Mr. Ujjal Chakraborti Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Mr. UjjalChakraborti joined Tata Steel in 1990 as a Graduate Trainee. He is an Electrical Engineer (B. Tech.) from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Sibpur, and an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
Mr. Chakraborti, prior to his appointment as COO, headed Tata Steel’s Industrial By-products Management Division and looked after Processing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing and Sales of the by-products. Mr Chakroborti has 26 years of experience in operations, supply chain, business analysis, project management & controlling functions of steel plant. He is a Master Black Belt in Six Sigma and has worked in various capacities of the steel value chain focusing from managing Plant Operations in Cold Rolling Mill to heading the business analysis of Flat Products segment and Raw Materials & Iron Making.
Mr. Chakraborti is also a Theory of Constraints (TOC) application expert in supply chain and has led the taskforce team for achieving business excellence between Tata Steel India and Tata Steel Europe.
Mr. Chakraborti has authored 25 papers in iron ore agglomeration which got published in National & International Journals. He currently sits on the boards of Tata Pigments and Himalayan Steel Mill Services (a slag management JV company of Tata Steel and Edward Levy and Co. of USA).
Mr. O.P. Davra Vice President (Corporate Affairs), Company Secretary & Compliance Officer
O. P. Davra is associated with Bhushan Steel Limited since 1993. His responsibilities include managing secretarial functions, Board and all its Committees Governance, interaction with regulating agencies including MCA, SEBI, Stock Exchanges, RBI etc. and ensuring corporate governance compliances.
He joined Bhushan Steel Limited as a Company Secretary later on promoted as Vice President (Corporate Affairs). He is Compliance Officer of the Company. Prior to joining Bhushan Steel, he had worked for Industrial Cables (India) Limited and Punjab Financial Corporation.
His professional journey spans over three decades where he has worked across entire spectrum of legal, contracts, litigation, compliance, governance and corporate affairs to ensure business operate within the parameters of law and regulation and conduct themselves with ethics and integrity.
