Bhushan Steel Ltd operates on an SAP® infrastructure with SAP ECC as the core software (SAP R/3 functionality is now available in mySAP™ ERP).Bhushan Steel Ltd has a pure SAP environment; we had plenty of expertise available to us.

The name SAP stands for Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing. SAP's R/3 integrated suite of applications and its ABAP/4 Development Workbench became popular starting around 1993. It creates a common centralized database for all the applications running in an organization. The application has been assembled in such a versatile way that it handles the entire functional department within an organization.

SAP R/3 4.7 was implemented in Bhushan Steel Sahibabad Plant in the year 2005 by Siemens India Systems Limited. Then the Rollout and Up-gradation to ECC-6.0 was done by Price Waterhouse Coopers in Khopoli and Sahibabad Plant respectively in the year 2007.

In the month of Jan-2009 SAP Implementation has been done for modules SD, MM and FI in our Orissa Plant (Dhenkannal Plant) by our In House Team of Bhushan Steel Ltd.This team will also be responsible for implementing  PP in Orissa Plant and upcoming Depots.

Our In-House team has implemented three Phases of PP Module and still under testing for the next Phases which is to be implemented in the last Quarter of year 2009. Our team will soon start work & Testing on upcoming Depots.
